Job Description

WorkSource is seeking experienced Traveling Welders to join a growing team performing industrial welding, fabrication, repair, and installation projects throughout the region. This position is ideal for welders who enjoy traveling, working in the field, and taking on a variety of industrial projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform stick welding on industrial and field projects
• Complete welding, fabrication, repair, and installation work according to project specifications
• Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, drawings, and job requirements
• Work safely and efficiently at customer job sites
• Assist with fabrication and millwright duties as needed
• Travel with another team member to assigned project locations
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
• Work overtime and weekends as required to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Stick welding experience
• Proven experience performing 7018 stick welding in the uphill position
• Ability to travel frequently and stay overnight as required
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Fabrication experience
• Millwright experience
• Industrial construction or maintenance experience
• Must maintain a clean driving record/MVR if operating a company vehicle
• Ability to work in industrial environments and varying weather conditions
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
